Privacy policy.

What data we collect, why, how long we keep it and how you can get it back or have it deleted. In short: we only ask for what we need to reply to you.

1 · Data controller

  • Controller: Daniel Hernández Rumbo
  • Tax ID (NIF): 33550475F
  • Location: Vilagarcía de Arousa, Pontevedra (Spain)
  • Contact email: hola@fiadeiroestudio.com

2 · What data we collect

Only what you give us through the contact form: your name, email address, the type of service you are interested in, your approximate budget and the message you write. The IP address the form is sent from is also recorded, as a security measure against automated submissions.

If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics also collects browsing data statistically: pages viewed, device type, approximate city and where you came from. It shows us overall figures, not who you are.

We do not collect special category data or data from children under 14.

3 · What we use it for

  • To answer your enquiry and continue any conversation that follows from it.
  • To prepare and send you a quote if you ask for one.
  • To manage the contractual relationship if we end up working together.
  • If you agree, to measure statistically how the website is used, so we can improve it.

We will not send you marketing you have not asked for, or add you to any mailing list without your express consent.

4 · Legal basis

Processing is based on your consent when you send the form or accept analytics cookies (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and, once we reach an agreement, on the performance of a contract or of steps taken at your request before entering into one (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

5 · How long we keep it

If your enquiry does not lead to a business relationship, we keep the message for a maximum of twelve months and then delete it. If we do work together, we keep the data for the whole relationship and, once it ends, for as long as tax and accounting rules require (usually six years).

6 · Who we share it with

We do not pass your data on to third parties or sell it. Only the providers strictly necessary to deliver the service have access to it, acting as data processors under a signed contract:

  • Hosting and email: IONOS, with servers in the European Union.
  • Form protection: Cloudflare, through its Turnstile service, which checks that whoever sends the form is a person and not an automated program. It receives the IP address the form is sent from and does not use it for any other purpose.
  • Analytics: Google Ireland Limited, through Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies. The data is kept for a maximum of 14 months.

Your data is stored on servers located in the European Union. It can only leave the European Economic Area in two cases: the form’s anti-bot check, provided by Cloudflare, and, if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics. Both companies are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, one of the safeguards the General Data Protection Regulation provides for such transfers.

7 · Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability at any time, and withdraw any consent you have given. Just email us at hola@fiadeiroestudio.com saying which right you wish to exercise; we will reply within one month at most.

If you feel we have not handled your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) (www.aepd.es).

8 · Security

The website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and the form includes measures against automated submissions. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, although no system connected to the internet is one hundred per cent infallible.

9 · Changes to this policy

If we change the way we handle data, we will update this text and the date at the bottom. We recommend checking it from time to time.

This text is also available in Spanish, Galician and Catalan. In the event of any discrepancy between versions, the Spanish version prevails.
